John Whitaker continued good British streak at home, even to overcome a lot of competitors in the H&M Ivy Stakes, being a member of the family Whitaker who will take top honors a newly.
With the horse Ornellaia (For Pleasure x Calato), a 10years old mare owned by Team Harmony Management Co Ltd, the British duo stopped the clock at 36.32 seconds with clear round, to show the way in a 12 jump-yoff Ads with a total of 6 double clears in fierce dispute.
In the second, the Swiss Steve Guerdat and the horse Bianca (Balou du Rouet x Cardent), another leading 9-years old mare, would complete its course in time 37.06 seconds, while the third box was occupied by the Dutch Maikel van der Vleuten on the horse Cupido V (Numero Uno x Lancelot), owned by Springstal van der Vleuten Bv, slate recording a time of 37.77 seconds.
The group of the top five continued diversity of nationalities, ranking fourth Geir Gullicksen from Norway and 9-years old mare Be People (Ticallux Verte x Gentleman) in time of 38.43 seconds, to close in fifth place German Marco Kutscher and 8-years old horse Quadros (Quidam de Revel x Corrado I) in a round of very conservative tie to mark 43.53 seconds.
