Dutch rider Johnny Pals liquidate the €30,000 Automotions CSI2* Grand Prix of Roosendaal, in clear dominance of the home riders.

The course designed by Henk Linders of Holland for 60 pairs, was the main week’s class in the Christmas Show Den Goubergh 2017 – Roosendaal – Week 2 and the victory in jump-off round the home rider Johnny Pals.

Appearing with the 9-year-old stallion Chat Botte du Ruisseau Z (Casall x Darco) owned by Stoeterij Black Horses & Fam. Roex, the Dutchman Johnny Pals showed the way to complete his tiebreaker in 40.10 seconds and ensure 50 World Ranking Points, where the home riders ended up occupying four of the first three places.

For second place Frenchman Francois Xavier Boudant cut the Dutch chain, finishing in 41.04 seconds with the 11-year-old stallion Chacco Rouge (Chacco Blue (Meckl) x Papillon Rouge*Normandie), followed in third place by Kevin Jochems with 10-year-old gelding Captain Cooper (Namelus R x Corland) in 41.16 seconds.

The last double clear round went to Piet Raijmakers Jr. with the 9-year-old gelding Van Schijndel’s Dominus (Berlin x Odermus R) in 42.02 seconds, while Dutchman Joy Lammers also recorded the best jump-off time in 37.97 seconds with the 14-year-old mare Winny (Quasimodo Z x Hamilcar), but they knocked down a pole that ended up placing them in fifth place.

By Latino Ranking participated Brazilian rider André Reichmann not managing to add World Ranking points, after he exceeded the time allowed and knocked down a fence next to the 8-year-old gelding Juan Van’T Arkelhof (Diamant de Semilly x Ahorn Z 310226079), totaling 5 faults in 28th place.
