Brazilian rider José Roberto Reynoso did just enough to win the CSI2*-W GP Indoor 2017 in Sao Paulo, a class valid for the World Cup Qualifier.
After completing an excellent internship early this 2017 at Wellington and at the Winter Equestrian Festival, José Roberto Reynoso Fernandez Filho completed the fasted 12-year-old stallion Azrael W (Chin Chin x Voltaire) the Two Rounds accumulating 1 foul in 47.05 seconds and add 50 World Ranking Points.
No stranger to protagonist in big classes for the Brazilian Olympic team member José Roberto Reynoso “Zé Roberto”, he won for second time the GP Indoor 2017 at 27th International Indoor Jump Competition of the Sociedad Hípica Paulista, where the house riders seized of the first eight positions.
The second place went to Marcello Ciavaglia with the 11-year-old stallion Conto (Canto x C-Ingmar) in 4 fouls and 53.82 seconds, third place was Andre de Miranda next to the 13-year-rold stallion Charleston Jmen (Cartoon Jmen x Lispector Jmen) in 5 fouls, fourth place for Felipe Amaral accompanied by the 14-year-old stallion Premiere Carthoes BZ (Carthago Z x Calve) in 9 fouls and 46.77 seconds, while Artemus de Almeida equals him in 9 fouls with 48.20 seconds along with the 11-year-old stallion Cassilano Jmen (Calcio Jmen x Orame).
Outside the Brazilian group, Uruguayan Marcelo Chirrico Ferreira was able to score points, who finished ninth with the 11-year-old stallion Acrobat van T Laar Z (Argentinus x Cor de Labrier), making only the First Round in 8 fouls.
