Closing day of the Gold Tour in the CSI 3* week at Arezzo, had the winner of the home rider Juan Carlos Garía, who completed his decisive round in 36.84 seconds with 11-year-old stallion Gitano V Berkenbroeck (Nabab de Reve x Ti Amo van het Lambroeck) owned by Jump Berkenbroeck.
With a full prize of €25,000 was disputed the Gold Tour Grand Prix to a height of 1.50m and Juan Carlos Garcia took 50 World Rankings points, where he currently occupies the 130 position. To the maximum joy of the Italian public the house horsemen got the one-two, being escorted the winner by Luca Marziani and 10-year-old stallion Tokyo du Soleil (Montender 2 x Papillon Rouge) owned by LM Srl, recording a time of 37.19 seconds.
The Top five finishers were third seeded young Dutchwoman Lisa Nooren, stopping the clock in 39.51 seconds with 11-year-old mare Bardesther (Cardento x Guidam) for fourth place Camilla Franci of Italy in 41.47 seconds with 12-year-old stallion Festo van Paemel (Cicero Z x Darco) and fifth Frenchman Philipe Leoni, marking a time of 43.52 seconds with 11-year-old mare Shana de Kerglenn (Semilly Diamant x Baussy Quito).
