The last competition of the day had the total protagonist and dominion on the Italian horsemen, being the first figuration in FEI class of the CSI 5* Jumping Verona.
The main protagonist of the event in dispute, the Cavalleria Toscana Trophy was Juan Carlos Garcia and his 16-year-old gelding Moka de Mescam (Melkior du Montois x Quouglof Rouge). With speed round as factor, the winner took 50 World Ranking points and €6,150 in prize, led one-two-three for the home representatives.
The second position was for Mirco Casadei and 9-year-old stallion Flickfox (Polyfox), leaving more than 1 second behind the leader and completing his field in 64.95 seconds, while the third place finished for Gianni Govoni registering 65.02 seconds with the 9-year-old stallion Larbraker (Larino x Heartbreaker).
While the fourth and fifth place in the competition got a better time than the winner, the Swedish Henrik von Eckermann downed a rail to be penalized with 4 seconds and totaling 67.01 seconds on his round with the 11-year-old stallion Little Lord (Lasino x Calato) and the Italian Emanuele Gaudiano and the 10-year-old mare Guess (Bentley van de Heffinck x Surrealist van’t Paradijs) did it in 63.52 seconds plus 4 for the takedown penalty, they completed their presentation at 67.52 seconds.
