Mexican rider Juan José Zendejas Salgado command in the first FEI event of the CSI2* Campeonato Nacional de Salto 2017 week in Mexico.
The class made up of 31 pairs on course designed by Brazilian Anderson de Moura Lima, had the total protagonism on part of home riders and led by Juan José Zendejas Salgado stopping the clock in 70.00 seconds.
With the result Juan José Zendejas Salgado secured 50 World Ranking Points with the 10-year-old gelding Tino La Chapelle (Mylord Carthago x Verdi) and also the world number 359 added his seventh FEI victory.
For second place Francisco Pasquel recorded a time of 72.15 seconds accompanied by the 10-year-old gelding Naranjo (Robin II Z x Quappa), which represented 45 World Ranking points and third place also Mexican rider Arturo Parada Vallejo completed his round in 72.82 seconds with the 12-year-old stallion Cornet’s Dream (Cornet Obolensky x Cordobes I).
Completed the Mexican domain in the speed class Nicolás Pizarro occupying the fourth place, after he finished his round in 73.64 seconds with the 11-year-old stallion Ares (Cardento x Zandigo) and will take to his personal account 35 World Ranking points.
Among the best classified ended Fabian Sejanes of Argentina in fifth place with a time of 74.23 seconds and accompanied by the 12-year-old mare C.Amalia Z (Crown Z x Damiro B), while sixth place was held by the Brazilian rider Rodrigo Lambre with the 11-year-old gelding Velini (Cheers Cassini x Kigali) in 75.19 seconds.
