French rider Julien Anquetin shined at home to take the first victory of CSI3* Deauville and secure 50 World Ranking Points.
Being the best in the tiebreaker, Julien Anquetin got a time of 34.38 seconds with the 13-year-old stallion Quanan Rouge (Kannan x Saphir Rouge II) in the €25,000 Prix Hôtel Barrière Le Normandy.
Showing the road on course designed by Frederic Cottier, Frenchman Julien Anquetin was given a 1.49 second lead against Briton Guy Williams, who was playing with the 12-year-old stallion Rouge de Ravel (Ultimo van ter Moude x Quouglof Rouge).
Completed the top five ranked three home riders with Edward Levy in third, Geoffroy de Coligny fourth and fifth was Thierry Rozier.
For the Pan American Ranking Catherine Nicole Tyree was the best in 30th place, totaling 5 fouls in 69.19 seconds with the 13-year-old gelding Enjoy Louis (Coriano x Kannan) and by Latino Ranking the Mexican rider Federico Fernandez appeared with the 11-year-old gelding Bolt (Kashmir van Schuttershof x Type d’Elle), accumulating 8 faults in 62.95 seconds to occupy 33rd place.
