The good streak for French riders continued on second day of the CSI5* Jumping du Chateau de Versailles at France and victory for Julien Epaillard, during the dispute of Prix Le Figaro Magazine.
With a total of 29 pairs for the speed class, Epaillard recorded a time of 57.43 seconds with 10-year-old mare La Roque Toupie (Kannan x Nabab de Reve) owned by SARL Top Stallions Company, to earn 50 World Ranking points in competition that distributed €25,000 among the 12 best classified. For second place and the best representative of Pan American Ranking was Canadian Tiffany Foster achieving a time of 59.28 seconds with 11-year-old gelding Brighton (Contendro II x Quick Star) owned by Artisan Farms LLC & Torrey Pines Stable, with winning 45 FEI Ranking points, being escorted by Swedish representatives Malin Baryard-Johnsson and Peder Fredricson, who stopped the clock in 59.46 seconds and 59.48 seconds, to occupy third and fourth place.
Passing to Latino Ranking the most outstanding was Brazilian rider Pedro Veniss, current Latino Ranking No. 3, knocking down a pole in his course of 65.74 seconds next to 12-year-old mare For Felicila (For Pleasure x Espri), taking 21st place. The other Brazilian and Olympic medalist Rodrigo Pessoa, totaled 8 fouls in 66.74 seconds with 13-year-old gelding Status (Satisfaction I x Sao Paulo), being located in 26th place.
