Again the Frenchman Julien Epaillard becomes the main protagonist of the Spring MET 2017 – Tour III, when he added another victory during the dispute of CSI 2* Grand Prix 1.45m – Gold 4 in Oliva Nova, Spain.
In a long list of 86 pairs for the regular round, only 16 would pass in a clear round to ensure their pass to the tiebreaker, where Epaillar with 11-year old gelding Safari D Auge (Semilly Diamond) would stop the clock in 44.05 seconds, time that would be unbeatable for the rest of the classified. For the second place Jemma Kirk of Great Britain was close to the winner, completing in 44.51 seconds with 13-year-old gelding Quelisto (J’Ai l’Espoir d’Elle x Starter) her presentation, a result that represented 50 World Ranking points for the winner and 45 for the British.
Completed the group of Top five Willem Greve of Holland in third place with the 8-year-old mare Elke Maria M (Cornet Obolensky x Carthago) without demolishing in 45.43 seconds, another Dutchman took the fourth place in 45.87 seconds with the performance of Remco Been and the 10-year-old stallion Holland Vd Bisschop (Heartbreaker x Achill/Libero H), while in the fifth Julia Kayser of Austria, marked in time a time of 47.01 seconds with 13-year-old stallion Sterrehof’s Cayetano Z (Caretano Z x Color of La Bruyere).
