French rider Julien Epaillard was again the best in the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour, winning €24,700 Gold 4 – 2Ph.

Securing 50 World Ranking points Julien Epaillard with his today’s victory, he showed up for the Two Phases on course designed by Elio Travagliati from Italy with the 12-year-old gelding Safari D Auge (Diamant de Semilly SF) and recorded a time of 25.71 seconds.

Escorted to Julien Epaillard in second place Belgian rider Constant van Paesschen, being close in time of 26.06 seconds with the 11-year-old gelding Compadre van de Helle (Casall x Concerto II) and third place also Belgian rider Nicola Philippaerts with his 12-year-old gelding Aikido Z (Accardi x Corrado I), completing the two phases in 26.33 seconds.

The first winner of week and world number 19 Scott Brash of Great Britain, finished in fourth place accompanied by the 9-year-old gelding Hello Mr President (Comme d’Api JR) in 26.44 seconds, while fifth place was Marc Bettinger of Germany finishing in 36,61 seconds with the 10-year-old mare Incroyable de Muze (Nabab de Reve x For Pleasure).

For the Latin Ranking its leader Pedro Veniss from Brazil got the tenth place with 10-year-old gelding Uccello de Will (Marlou des Etisses x Marlo) in 32.30 seconds, to add World Ranking Points. On the other hand and also by Pan American Ranking Michael Hughes of the United States finished 22nd with the 10-year-old gelding Carbon 5 (Chalan x Domino) and Sergio Neuppmann Junior of Brazil with the 11-year-old mare Chicca Blue (Chacco Blue x Carthago) escorted him at 23rd, finishing both riders the first phase in 5 fouls.
