New date for the Longines FEI World Cup Jumping and the 12th sleeve in Bordeaux, penultimate of the schedule for the Western European League and valid for the classification of the grand finale in the United States of America, when the Frenchman Julien Epaillard got his first victory of the League, dominating the tiebreaker round with 13-year-old gelding Quitrin de la Roque LM (Quick Star x Kannan).
With a total of 39 registered entries for the dispute class presented by Equidia Life with a prize of €155,000, the winner stopped the clock in 35.92 seconds to lead the jump-off round with 19 qualifiers, in what without doubt was a magnificent demonstration of Epaillard to credit 130 World ranking points.
Finishing the first 6 competitors with clear rounds, second place was Dutch Leopold van Asten and 13-year-old gelding VDL Groep Zidane N.O.P. (Heartbreaker x Calando I) in 37.71 seconds, followed in the third by German Guido Klatte recording 38.09 seconds alongside 10-year-old gelding Qinghai (Quidam de Revel x Cordalme).
For the Latin Ranking Carlos López finished in the 31st position with 12-year-old gelding Admara 2 (Padinus x Murano), being the last course of 4 fouls in the regular round in 75.31 seconds.
