Frenchman Julien Epaillard won the Signal Iduna Cup at CSI 4* Dortmund after completing his tiebreaker in 33.05 seconds with 13-year-old gelding Cristallo A LM (Casall x Corofino I).
The course designed by Martin Otto for 55 pairs, had 14 classified in the jump-off where Epaillard took 50 World Ranking points with his result. The second position was for the Dutch Robert Vos in time of 34.02 seconds with the 10-year-old gelding Don Gretzky (Corlensky G x Donnerhall), followed in the third place by Guido Klatte jun. of Germany, registering 34.68 seconds with 10-year-old gelding Qinghai (Quidam de Revel x Cordalme).
For the Latin Ranking José María Larocca of Argentina managed to qualify for the jump-off, stopping the clock in 35.22 seconds with the 13-year-old gelding Eliot Dws (Winningmood x Rey Z), but shot down two rails to totaling 8 fouls, a result that put them in the 12th place.
