Dutch rider Jur Vrieling won the €30,000 Prize of Easy-Ticket-Service, marking the beginning of second day at CSI5* Stuttgart German Masters.
The speed class on course designed by Christa Jung from Germany, was dominated by a fasted display of Jur Vrieling with the 10-year-old mare Zypern III (Casall x Coriano) in front of 47 more riders, with a time of 58.98 seconds and securing 50 World Ranking Points.
Representing the second FEI class of the calendar in Stuttgart, Jur Vrieling beat home rider Michael Jung, who finished in 59.22 seconds with the 8-year-old mare fischerSolution (Carthino Z) in a tough fight, while third place was taken by Robert Whitaker of Great Britain with the 14-year-old gelding Catwalk IV (Colman x Corleone) in 59.24 seconds.
The Top 5 riders was completed by home riders Maurice Tebbel with the 10-year-old stallion Chacco’s Son (Chacco-Blue x Lancer III) in 59.31 seconds and fifth place for Marcus Ehning accompanied by the 14-year-old gelding Pret A Tout (Hiram Chambertin x Stew Boy) in 60.52 seconds.
The Latino Ranking Leader Pedro Veniss of Brazil managed to add FEI Ranking Points, finishing in 15th place with the 13-year-old stallion Quabri de l’Isle (Kannan x Socrate de Chivre), completing his round in 64.84 seconds. On the other hand his fellowman Yuri Mansur knocked down a fence and totaled 4 fouls in 60.88 seconds in 23rd place with the 10-year-old gelding Inferno (Incolor (old) x Italic Des Salines (SF)).
