The third day of the CSI 5* Falsterbo in Sweden had the fast Jur Vrieling lifting the Runsten Equestrian Trophy, securing 50 World Ranking Points.
Being a speed class with 46 pairs, Jur Vrieling next to the 9-year-old mare Acascia (Diamant de Semilly x Acord II) owned by Maria Rosaria Marzotto, registered a time of 67.27 seconds to surpass by small margin of 11 hundredths of second to Frenchman Eric George and his 12-year-old gelding Rocker d’Ysieux (Crown Z (be) Z x Royal Feu).
The fight also continued from third to fifth place, where Irishman Denis Lynch scored a time of 68.04 seconds with the 10-year-old mare RMF Zecilie (Acolord x Canturo), for fourth place Paul Estermann of Switzerland with the 9-year-old stallion Curtis Sitte (Ugano Sitte x Chellano Z) did it in 68.38 seconds and in fifth place was Thomas Ryan of Ireland in 68.69 seconds next to the 13-year-old stallion Quite Zero (Quite Capitol x Landgraf I).
For the Pan American Ranking the US Adrienne Sternlicht and Ali Wolff finished in sixth and eighth with time of 69.40 seconds for Sternlicht with the 12-year-old gelding Toulago (Toulon x Carthago Z) and Wolff in 70.03 seconds with the 10-year-old stallion Quirie 2 (Quadrigus M x Quidam’s Rubin).
For the Latino Ranking Cassio Rivetti of Brazil was placed 13th next to the 9-year-old gelding Chicago Hof Evergem Z (Con Spirito R x Papillon Rouge), obtaining World Ranking Points in a field of 72.43 seconds.
