The closure of CSI 5* Al Ain in the United Arab Emirates had as main character the representative of Egypt Karim El Zoghby, who won the Longines Grand Prix main class in the week that distributed 155,000 Euros among the top 12 ranked and points to the World Ranking among the top 16.

With two perfect rounds El Zoghby in company of mare Amelia (Cantos x Numero Uno) marked a time of 46.67 seconds, a time that would be good enough to surpass by 41 hundredths of a second to the Italian Emilio Bicocchi who escorted him in the second position beside the horse Ares (Ephebe for Ever x Rebel) in time of 47.08 seconds with two clear rounds.

The third would be for the Syrian representative Ahmed Saber Hamcho and Callahan (Contendro I x For Pleasure) with the last round without demolition in time of 53.63 seconds, while Ales Opatrny of the Czech Republic accumulated clear in the first round and 1 foul in the second with horse Acovaro (Acodetto I x Calvaro), closing the top five in fifth place Ukrainian Cassio Rivetti and the mare Fine Fleur Du Marais (Toulon x Cento) in fields of 4 fouls and clear round in the second with time of 47.49 seconds.
