Katherine Offel hear again the anthem of her country Germany, then to return to be representative for several years to Ukraine in international Show Jumping events. Her victory today marked not only to win the first major class since making the change, but also the first Grand Prix won for 10-year-old stallion Umeunig Z (Z Intocable x Chellano Z).
With a crow completely to support their representatives who fought until the tiebreaker for the win, Offel snatched the possibility to appreciate Eduardo Alvarez Aznar with Chatman (HDC Carinjo x Lasino) and Eduardo Alvarez Moya who was presented with the 8-year-old G & C Don Vito (Quaprice Z x Jus de Pomme), finished second and third respectively.
“I was very focused when I entered the ring, the cuorse was very complicated, difficult and demanding,” said Katherine Offel. “This victory will then return to represent my country of birth, this victory is twice as special for me,” she added.
The winning performing a time of 36.23 seconds in the jump-off, almost a second faster than the Spanish Eduardo Alvarez Aznar, while Sergio Alvarez Moya third in the final order to stoping the clock at time of 37.48 seconds.
Latino representatives by the winner of the previous day Pedro Veniss from Brazil was the best placed in 4th place, scoring a clear round in the tiebreaker and time of 38.09 seconds. The Argentine Jose Maria Larocca ended in 14th place, the second fastest round with 4 fouls of regular round in time of 73.61 seconds.
