World number 1 Kent Farrington of the United States achieved his first victory in the CSI5* Valence, during the dispute of €30,000 Prix MMA and SFAM.
As the class being evaluated by Two Phases, Pan American Ranking Leader and Olympic medalist Kent Farrington completed his presentation in 24.05 seconds with the 8-year-old gelding Baltic Star (Bacardi x Chalan) owned by Tanma Corp. & Kent Farrington, insured 50 World Ranking Points.
The 44 pairs class had a Kent Farrington unbeaten against home riders Laurent Guillet with the 11-year-old gelding Sultan du Chateau (Kannan x Galoubet A) in 24.14 seconds to finish second and Julien Epaillard in third place with the 9-year-old gelding Instit de Jucaso (Cooper van of Heffinck x Darco) in 24.62 seconds.
For the Latino Ranking Brazilian rider Yuri Mansur was accompanied by the 10-year-old gelding Inferno (Incolor x Italic des Salines), finishing in fourth place and achieving a time of 25.09 seconds that earned him 35 FEI Ranking Points.
Also managed to score points for the Pan American Ranking and Latino Ranking Canadian Kara Chad in seventh place along with the 10-year-old mare Carona (Untouchable x Silverstone) in 26.47 seconds, the American rider Reed Kessler followed in eighth place with the 10-year-old mare Tradition de la Roque (Kannan x Oberon du Moulin) in 26.53 seconds and Colombian rider Dayro Arroyave finished tenth with the 9-year-old mare Infinity (Cicero Z x Ditmar) in time of 28.16 seconds.
