The American rider and world number 1 Kent Farrington showed his favoritism, beating the home representatives by winning the € 100,000 Prize of North Rhine-Westphalia.

The two-round class for 52 pairs in a course designed by German Frank Rothenberger served to lead the Pan-American Ranking Leader Kent Farrington to complete his run in 46.65 seconds with the 16-year-old gelding Uceko (Celano x Koriander) owned by R.C.G. Farm, to secure 100 World Ranking Points.

What Kent Farrington demonstrated at CHIO Aachen, makes clear his intentions to remain a good time as the main reference of the Show Jumping. The second place was German Christian Ahlmann alongside the 17-year-old stallion Taloubet Z (Galoubet A x Polydor) in time of 47.14 seconds and in the third place Simone Blum also of Germany in 47.20 seconds with the 10-year-old mare DSP Alice (Askari x Landrebell).

Finished the Top 5 was world number 3 Lorenzo de Luca of Italy registering a time of 48.09 seconds accompanied by the 11-year-old gelding Limestone Gray (Try-Time) occupying the fourth place and in fifth Andreas Kreuzer of Germany in time of 48.24 seconds with the 11-year-old gelding Calvilot (Calvaro Z x Quilot).

For the Latino Ranking Brazilian rider Eduardo Menezes managed to add FEI Ranking Points in 12th place, accompanied by the 12-year-old gelding Quintol (Quintender x Cento) accumulating 4 faults in 59.07 seconds.
