The 20-year-old American rider Kerry McCahill got his first win in the Hollow Creek Farm Series for under-25s after dominated the Canadian course design by Michel Vaillancourt in the $35,000 Hollow Creek U25 Grand Prix Series Semi-Final with 10-year-old gelding Charly Chaplin S (Harley VDL x Burggraaf).
Registering a time of 39.35 seconds, McCahill who had achieved to date a third place like best result of the series in third week, was awarded 50 World Ranking points to surpass Alma Bjorklund of Sweden, who getting a time of 40.53 seconds with 12-year-old gelding Unex Captain Chaos 8 (Con Air x Landaris). Completed the top three classified Lucas Porter (19) together with 12-year-old mare Diamante Darco (Unbelievable Darco) in a time of 40.80 seconds.
For Latin Ranking three of its representatives managed to add World-wide Ranking points, being Rogelio Pellerano the best result, occupying the seventh place with 10-years-old mare Temporelle de Fritot (Diamond of Semilly x Nantoung) with 4 faults in 38.44 seconds to add 25 points. Luis Larrazabal of Venezuela with 10-year-old P&P Quintus Fabius (Quality 9 x Lehnsherr) ended in 11th place with 8 fouls in 39.34 seconds and Mexican Eugenio Garza closed the point’s rider in 16th place with Victer Finn DH Z (Va Vite x Stakkato) in 4 fouls for his regular round. Out of the points was Maria Brugal of the Dominican Republic in 20th position with the same 4 fouls.
