The French rider Kevin Staut was without enemies in the speed class with Elky van het Indihof Hdc (Toulon x Thunder Vd Zuuthoeve), a 13-year-old mare owned by Haras Des Coudrettes to be credited 80 World Ranking points in a class which distributed a total of 64,000 Euros.
With a 2 second lead over his nearest rival, Staut was escorted by the Swedish Henrik von Eckermann in time of 65.38 seconds with the 10-year-old stallion Chacanno (Chacco-Blue x Kannan) and third-placed was Jordanian Ibrahim Hani Bisharat in 65.50 seconds with the 11-year-old mare Brown Sugar (Chacco-Blue x Farmer).
Completed the group of Top 5 ranked Italian Piergiorgio Bucci in fourth place with the 10-year-old gelding Heartbreaker Vd Achterhoe (Bentley van de Heffinck x Catando Z) scoring a time of 65.61 seconds, while Belgian Pieter Devos finished fifth with the 13-year-old gelding Espoir (Surcouf de Revel x Laudanum XX) in 66.18 seconds.
World Ranking leader Daniel Deusser and the best seed of the competition completed the fastest course in 62.87 seconds with the 10-year-old mare Happiness Van T Paradijs (Obourg x Quick Lauro Z), but they knocked down a rail that left them located in the 15th position.
