Conclusion for the CSI 3* week at Al Shaqab, which was split in parallel with CSI 3* and CSI 5* with the winner of the small Grand Prix being home representative Khalid Mohammed A D Al Emadi.
With only 5 riders qualified for the jump-off, after 24 pairs in the regular round, Al Emadi and 17-year-old mare Tamira IV (Damiro x Corleone) took the win easily, when they were up to 6 seconds ahead for his closest follower. Followed in the second position by Frenchman Frederic David registering 45.40 seconds before the 39.63 seconds of the winner, both being the only fields with double clear rounds.
Completed the group of the top five and also the jump-off qualified Rakan Al Hasawi in the third accumulating 8 fouls in 40.52 seconds, fourth place for Salman Mohammed AS Al Emadi of Qatar in 42.83 seconds with 8 fouls and fifth Saudi Saad Alajmi with the same 8 fouls in 42.91 seconds.
By the Latin Ranking Andrés Peñalosa of Colombia managed to add FEI Ranking points located in the 15th position, completing a course of 8 fouls in the regular round with the 11-year-old gelding Barcelona (Mr. Blue x Voltaire).
