The second day in the CSI 3* Reims at France had British victory with Laura Renwick dominating in closed jump-off the competition that distributed €24,800 among the 14 best classified, in course designed by Gregory Bodo for 55 pairs.
With 16 riders qualified, Laura Renwick led the jump-off in a time of 40.73 seconds with 9-year-old mare Mhs Washington (Obos Quality x Cavalier Royale) to add 50 World Ranking points, surpassing in a closed finish with advantage of 19 hundredths of a second to house representative Maelle Martin, who completed his court in 40.92 seconds with 9-year-old gelding Icarus V’T Klavertje Vier (Bentley van de Heffinck x Palestro Vd Begijnakker). Completed the Top 5 Ireland rider Harry Marshall in third place alongside 10-year-old stallion Chrirokko M (Diamant de Semilly X Chin Chin)with a time of 42.26 seconds, followed in fourth by French Jerome Hurel with 13-year-old stallion Uranus (Baloubet du Rouet x Kannan) in 42.50 seconds and fifth place was Kevin Gielen of Belgium in 42.73 seconds with 11-year-old stallion Captain (Contendro I x Caretino).
For Latino Ranking Rene López of Colombia could not add World Ranking points when finishing in 20th position, after completing a regular round of 4 faults in 75.70 seconds with 10-year-old mare Twig du Veillon (Diamant de Semilly x Tornado D’Hotot).
