The first FEI class of the Equerry Bolesworth International Horse Show in Britain was won by fast American rider Lauren Hough, finishing her field with no enemies in 40.91 seconds.
Presenting with the always-effective Ohlala (Orlando x Cardento), a 13-year-old mare owned by The Ohlala Group, the Olympic medalist Lauren Hough secured 50 World Ranking Points with her win, ending the 9 qualifiers decisive round.
For the second place Robert Smith of Great Britain recorded a time of 43.06 seconds accompanied by the 9-year-old gelding Ilton (Dulf Van Den Bisschop x Calvaro), while Yazmin Pinchen also of Great Britain, stopped the clock in 43.55 seconds with the 14-year-old stallion Van De Vivaldi (Vivaldi Van De Kempel x Golden Joy J). They closed the Top 5 in fourth place Trevor Breen of Ireland in time of 43.67 seconds with the 10-year-old mare Bombay (Lord Z x Bon Ami) and fifth place Michel Hendrix of Netherlands with the 11-year-old gelding Baileys (Indoctro x Come On) in 44.16 seconds.
For the Latino Ranking the Mexican rider Eugenio Garza was the only participant, being penalized with 1 foul to exceed the allowed time and totaling 5 fouls in the 27th place along with the 9-year-old gelding Victer Finn Dh Z (Va Vite x Stakkato).
