Leopold van Asten and VDL Groep Miss Untouchable unstoppable at €24,600 Albam.

Dutchman Leopold van Asten was untouchable next to his mare in the€24,600 Albam speed class for second day at CSI5* Brussels Stephex Masters.

The course designed by Italian Uliano Vezzani had the participation of 40 pairs, but the unbeatable time of Leopold van Asten along with his 10-year-old mare VDL Groep Miss Untouchable (Chacco-Blue x Aldatus) owned by Stoeterij Duyselshof, recorded a time of 72.72 seconds.

Leopold van Asten scored 50 World Ranking Points and marked a difference of about 2 seconds before the world number 4 Lorenzo de Luca, who appeared with the 8-year-old mare Jeunesse Van T Paradijs (Emerald Van ‘T Ruytershof x Heartbreaker) finishing in 74.59 seconds.

They were followed for the top five places by Briton John Whitaker in third place with the 9-year-old gelding Crumley (Cassus x As Di Villagana) in 76.03 seconds, Irishman Darragh Kenny alongside the 11-year-old gelding Go Easy de Muze (Vigo d’Arsouilles x For Pleasure) in 78.90 seconds and Swedish Henrik von Eckermann with the 15-year-old gelding Cantinero (Cento x Cash) in time of 79.17 seconds.

For the Pan American Ranking Americans stood out with Lauren Hough in ninth place with the 12-year-old mare Adare (Royal Bravour x Burggraaf) on course with 2 fouls and World No. 1 and best seeded Kent Farrington in tenth place, with 10-year-old gelding Dublin (Cobra x Calido) accumulating the same 2 faults in 89.55 seconds.

For Latino Ranking Brazilian rider Cassio Rivetti totaling 6 fouls with the 9-year-old gelding Chicago Hof Eversem Z (Spirito R x Papillon Rouge), being out of the World Ranking points in 28th place.
