The Dutch rider Lisa Nooren repeated at the CSI3* Opglabbeek in Belgium to win this time the €61,000 Grote Prijs Cavalor.
With another new victory, Lisa Nooren has steadily gained a significant spot in the various FEI events, adding 50 World Ranking Points with the 10-year-old mare VDL Groep Centora de Wallyro (Dobel’s Cento x Aledo).
The class that was very contested in the jump-off round on the course designed by Henk Linders, Dutch girl Lisa Nooren was able to gain a small advantage of 5 hundredths of a second against Sweden’s Stephanie Holmén, who played next to 11-year-old H&M Flip’s Little Sparrow (Cardento 933 x Robin Z 723) with a time of 40.79 seconds.
Women’s dominance extended to fourth place, taking the third place Gudrun Patteet of Belgium with the 11-year-old gelding Sea Coast Atlantic (Schilling x Aramos De La Cense) in time of 41.58 seconds and the best one representative of Pan American Ranking and member of the American Olympic team Reed Kessler, finished in fourth place with the 11-year-old mare Christy 3 (Christiano x Arpeggio) in 43.40 seconds.
For the Latino Ranking only Adir Abreu Junior from Brazil managed to score World Ranking Points, finishing in 16th place with the 10-year-old gelding Hunter van het Indihof (Bentley van de Heffinck x Mr Blue) in field of 4 fouls. For his part and out of the points his compatriot Luis Felipe de Azevedo Filho was in the 26th place accumulating 9 fouls, while also Brazilians Cassio Rivetti and the Latino Ranking Leader Pedro Veniss, opted for the retired of their regular rounds.
