The Italian Luca Lorenzo won his first victory of the week CSI3* Drachten in the Netherlands, scoring an unbeatable time in the jump-off of 37.65 seconds and thus end the strong intention by home riders placed first, second and third to the delight of the public.
Ultimately things favored De Luca with horse Limestone Grey (Try-Time) owned by Stephex Stables & Lorenzo De Luca who added 50 points to the World Ranking with the first being escorted by Leopold van Asten and 12-years-old mare VDL Groep Quinthago Z (Quinar x Carthago Z) in the second position with time of 38.09 seconds. The next Dutch in the third place was Willem Greve and the horse Carambole N.O.P. (Cassini I x Concerto II) recording 39.62 seconds, leaving the fourth to Dominque Roelofsen with Gioia Van Het Neerenbosch (Nagano x Skippy II) a 10-years-old mare in time of 39.79 seconds. Finally to complete the fifth and fifth double clear of the night Belgian rider Annelies Vorsselmans complete its field in 39.87 seconds by the 9-years-old gelding Hermes Butterfly (Canturo x Power Light).
Regarding Latin Ranking leader Marlon Módolo Zanotelli from Brazil failed in this second chance to take FEI Ranking points to fill the position 21th with the 12-years-old mare Madame Butterly (Corrado I x Lavall II) completing his presentation in 4 fouls and 69.92 seconds.
