The penultimate day of the CSI 5* Olympia – The London International Horse Show 2016 again had as main protagonist the representative of Italy Lorenzo de Luca, who added his second victory of the week.

Repeating as the best of the competition with the 9-year-old stallion Halifax van het Kluizebos (Heartbreaker x Fetiche Du Pas), same pair winner on Tuesday speed class, now again added 50 World Ranking points with the best time of The Martin Collins Enterprises Christmas Tree Stakes, with time of 30.20 seconds in its jump-off.

Showing his conditions as one of the fastest horsemen today, de Luca was able to surpass by 45 hundredths of a second his teammate in Stephex Stables, Daniel Deusser of Germany and number 3 in the world, who getting 45 World Ranking points with the 9-year-old stallion Hidalgo VG (Quadrille x Andiamo).

Defined the first two places, a total of 6 double clear rounds finished in the jump-off, with Briton Ben Maher in the third and 8-year-old gelding Don Vito (Quaprice Z x Jus de Pomme) in time of 31.13 seconds followed by Philippe Rozier of France in 32.22 seconds with Unpulsion de la Hart (Kashmir van Schuttershof x Nonstop) and Penelope Leprevost from France too, finishing fifth with the 12-year-old mare Nice Stephanie (Cardento x Ralme Z) in 33.01 seconds.
