British rider Louise Simpson take the first victory of the CSI2* Autumn MET II Oliva, dominating the speed class €24,600 Gold 4 – FT 1.45m.
Disputing the week from November 2 to 5 of the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour – Autumn MET 2017 – Tour II, Louise Simpson led her 12-year-old mare Fiona V/H Lemmenshof (Nonstop x Hibrahim Von Pferdheim) on a fast round of 67.31 seconds and assured 50 World Ranking Points.
Being Louise Simpson the first winner of three FEI classes this week, she got an 87 hundredths of a second lead against Jamal Rahimov of Azerbaijan, who completed his round in 68.18 seconds with the 14-year-old stallion Warrior (Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve x Heartbreaker), while the third place was Tim Stockdale of Great Britain with 10-year-old gelding Tornado des Monts (Flipper d’Elle x Narcos II) in 70.03 seconds.
For the fourth and fifth place in what were the top five results of the speed class were Emma Stoker of Great Britain with the 12-year-old gelding Townhead Campus (Cartoon x Grand Canyon) in 70.71 seconds and fifth was Vladimir Tuganov of Russia, appearing with the 9-year-old gelding Qualidam (Quality Touch Z (Old) x Quidam of Revel) in 71.16 seconds.
