The CSI 3* week of the II – Vilamoura Atlantic Tour 2017 on its sixth day of activities for the sixth week was won by Italian Luca Maria Moneta, riding directly to the victory with 16-year-old gelding Neptuno Brecourt (Cavalor Cumano x Kayack ) owned by Riders S.R.L.
Getting a time of 64.43 seconds, Moneta took 50 World Ranking points with his result when he won the CSI 3* 1.45m – Mike Davis with a margin of 48 hundredths of a second against Dutchman Johnny Pals who stopped the clock in 65.11 seconds with 8-year-old mare Anna JO (Acodetto I x For Pleasure).
By the Latin Ranking Cassio Rivetti of Brazil was in charge of leading the group with double figuration, occupying the third and fifth place to add 40 FEI Ranking points with the best result, finishing his course in 65.97 seconds with 11-year-old stallion Lagerfeld (Lauterbach x Calvaro) and in 66.62 seconds with 12-year-old gelding Acochini JJ (Chin Chin x Nimmerdor), while Chilean Tomas Couve Correa also scored 15 points with 12-year-old gelding Rapid Patite Folie (Calvaro x Thoas du Theillet) in 81.99 seconds. Out of the points were the Chilean Bernardo Naveillan in the 25th place with accumulated of 4 faults and the Brazilian Felipe Ramos Guinato made it 5 seconds slower to finish 33rd.
