The Italian rider Luca Moneta has won the Small Grand Prix sponsored by Riversa after completing a very fast jump-off round in which he won the British Matthew Sampson. Moneta, riding Neptune Brecourt, stopped the clock at 32.40 seconds, 33.23 seconds achieved by the English with Cecilia. Irishman Richard Howley and Calmond completed the positions of honor, finishing the course in 33.68 seconds. They were the fastest of the thirteen pairs who went to the tiebreaker, where only five managed to finish it double clear.
For Latino riders in a large class of 81 participants the best placed was Brazilian Luiz Francisco de Azevedo outside the points in World Ranking at 18th place, countryman Carlos Eduardo Mota Ribas followed in 19th and Mexican Jose Alfredo Hernandez Ortega in the 21. Brazilian Pedro Veniss number 3 of Latino Ranking did not get to finish in 48th place.
US Gabriela Mershad ends in 21th.
