The class that began with the participation of 25 young riders on the course designed by Venezuelan Leopoldo Palacios, the American rider Madison Goetzmann dominated the $35,000 Canadian Utilities U25 Cup in the ‘Continental’ CSI 5* week.
With last week’s winner Daniel Coyle of Ireland, today the final results was different with the dominance by the members of the Pan American and Latino Ranking, occupying the first four places. Aging a time of 40.73 seconds, Madison Goetzmann and the 8-year-old gelding Atticus Diamant (Diamant de Semilly x Vas Y Donc Longane) took the win and 50 World Ranking Points in the Winning Round, being her second FEI win.
For the second place Jorge Canedo Vincent of Mexico and emphasizing by the Latino Ranking, they stood out with what he obtained 45 World Ranking Points, after that stopped the clock in 41.44 seconds next to the 11-year-old mare Caitari (Carine x Cincaba Rouge), being the only one by the Latinos that added points.
The third and fourth position were from Canada and both thanks to Ben Asselin, who was in the third with the 11-year-old mare Wahrhaftige (Clearway x Coronado) in 44.75 seconds and fourth place with the 8-year-old gelding Clockwise (Contendro I x Cantus) in time of 46.02 seconds.
