Marcel Marschall wins the CSI 2* Grand Prix of Vilamoura.

The Grand Prix of Vilamoura in the CSI 2*week had like a winner the German rider Marcel Marschall in a disputed event, after starting the regular round 63 pairs, everything was defined in a tiebreaker of 16 classified.

Introduced with Eric Lamaze’s Undercontract (Andiamo x Jasper) 16-year-old gelding, Marschall completed his jump-off in 31.19 seconds to earn 50 World Ranking points without major setbacks.

The second position was of the Brazilian and better representative of the Latin Ranking in the competition Marlon Modolo Zanotelli, realizing his two clear rounds and registering a time of 38.81 seconds with the 10-year-old mare Celena VDL (Mr. Blue x Chin Chin ) owned by VDL Stud, to add to his account for the month of March 45 points, this being his second consecutive week to finish second in the Grand Prix in Portugal.

The rest of the Latin American delegation, made up only of Brazilian riders on this occasion, with Adir Abreu Junior in the 21st place in a regular round of 4 fouls with Chactonus 2 (Chacco-Blue x Calvaro), Cassio Rivetti doit in 5 fouls with Lagerfeld (Lauterbach x Calvaro) finishing 26th, Nando de Miranda had 13 fouls in the 49th position, Felipe Ramos Guinato had 16 fouls in the 51st position and Luiz Felipe de Azevedo retired.
