The penultimate day of the CHIO Rotterdam continued with a only one FEI class which ended with a one-two for Germany, thanks to the great performance of Marcus Ehning and Marco Kutscher.
For the course designed by Louis Konickx of the Netherlands with 46 pairs, the Rabobank Championship of Rotterdam was dispute, which distributed 50,000 Euros and had a jump-off round with 4 riders classified, but it was the fast demonstration of Marcus Ehning, who would set the tone for the class in 40.11 seconds next to the 12-year-old stallion Funky Fred (For Pleasure x Pilot) owned by Sportpferde Ehning GbR. With the result, the winner took 50 World Ranking Points.
In second place, German Marco Kutscher also completed the second and last double clear round in 41.19 seconds accompanied by the 13-year-old gelding Balermo (Baloubet du Rouet x Silvio I) while completing the tiebreaking round in third Rolf-Göran Bengtsson of Sweden, with 4 fouls in 40.33 seconds alongside the 11-year-old mare Spring Dark (Jazz Band Courcelle x Palestro II) and Aniek Poels of the Netherlands took fourth place with 11-year-old stallion Barry White 3 (Twisther x Animo) when registering 4 fouls in 43.00 seconds.
By the Pan American Ranking Wilton Porter of the United States was penalized with 1 foul, exceeding the time allowed for regular round of 70 seconds, occupying the fourth place in time of 71.84 seconds with the 10-year-old gelding Delinquent JX (Darco X I Need You) owned by Sleepy P Ranch Llc and US Lillie Keenan with the 11-year-old gelding Super Sox (Salito x Silvio I) ranked 11th with a total of 4 fouls in 68.95 seconds.
For Latino Ranking Alonso Valdez Prado of Peru was the last place to add World Ranking Points, completing his regular round in 5 faults and 70.95 seconds with the 9-year-old gelding Chichester 3 (Casall x Cosimo) to occupy the 16th place.
