Portuguese Mario Wilson Fernandes and Irish Jeremy Sweetnam draw for first place during the €24,600 CSI3* Two Phases 1.45m.
With a time of 34.52 seconds by both riders, the course designed by Bernardo Costa Cabral for 41 pairs had a very exciting final in the match for the first place of Mario Wilson Fernandes and Jeremy Sweetnam.
The two stages filled with great alternatives, left the two winners with 50 World Ranking Points and a divided a prize bag of €5,535 for each, where Mario Wilson Fernandes was presented with the 10-year-old gelding Tidelio Des Nauves (Fidelio du Thot x Socrate de Chivre) and Jeremy Sweetnam did it with the 10-year-old gelding Sir Landal Joter (Singular Joter x Landadel).
Followed in the third place British Emma Stoker alongside 12-year-old mare Townhead Tallulah V (Tabasco La Silla x Calvados) in 34.98 seconds and for fourth place also British Harry Charles with the 10-year-old gelding Controe (Wender R x Iroko) in 35.85 seconds.
For the Latino Ranking Brazilian rider Joao Victor Castro was fifth in 36.13 seconds, getting 30 World Ranking Points with his 11-yearold gelding Quentin PJ (Quidam de Revel x Escudo 19). Meanwhile also Brazilian Felipe Ramos Guinato with the 8-year-old stallion Vasco de Gamas (Nartago x Thurin), only completed the first phase in 4 fouls finishing in 28th place.
