Brazilian rider Marlon Modolo Zanotelli was fast at CSI3* Beervelde in Belgium to secure the first FEI victory of the week.
The speed class on course designed by Louis Konickx for 47 pairs, had an inspired Marlon Modolo Zanotelli getting a time of 67.66 seconds with the 13-year-old gelding Extra Van Essene (Diamant de Semilly x Gotthardsen) owned by Victoria Vargas D’Agostino.
After the Brazilian Marlon Modolo Zanotelli led by more than a year and a half the Latino Ranking, has achieved the last few months excellent results, which even allowed him to climb from the 70th to 53rd place in the World Ranking, where today took 50 points to occupy his first place.
The second place was for the Spanish rider Julio Arias along with the 12-year-old stallion Reggae du Tillard (Jarnac) in time of 68.32 seconds, while third to fifth was for the house riders with Koen Vereecke in third, Christophe Vanderhasselt in fourth place and Wouter Devos fifth.
Colombian rider Dayro Arroyave who was out of the points in 21st place with the 9-year-old mare Infinity (Cicero Z568000 x Ditmar 85,514) in a 4-foul foul, and Brazilian Joao Victor Castro had 8 fouls in 38th place with 8-year-old gelding Chief Tibri Z (Corland x Berlin).
For the Pan American Ranking the American rider Beezie Madden was accompanied by the 18-year-old gelding Simon (Mr. Blue x Polydox), finishing with 4 fouls in the 24th position.
