For the fourth week of the Vilamoura Atlantic Tour 2017 was held the Hospital de Loule Trophy with the formidable victory of the Brazilian Marlon Modolo Zanotelli.
Fighting against a group of 76 pairs in the speed class at 1.45m, the former Latin leader of the Latin Ranking completed his field in a time of 58.59 seconds with the 11-year-old mare Sirene de La Motte (Apache d’Adriers x Uriel d’Orval). As the CSI 3* week, Modolo Zanotelli was awarded 50 World Ranking points plus 6,150 Euros with the first position, after the South American climbed the last measurement of the Ranking, from fourth to second place behind the Chilean Samuel Parot. In the second place, Dutchman Johnny Pals and 8-year-old mare Anna JO (Acodetto I x For Pleasure) finished in 59.03 seconds, while Australia’s Rowan Willis finished third with 9-year-old gelding Shark (Arko x Pilot) in 59.52 seconds.
For the Latin Ranking there were no more representatives within the FEI Ranking points, leaving the Chilean Tomas Couve without defeats in position 27th, followed by Brazilians Luiz Felipe de Azevedo with 1 foul, Joao Victor Castro with 1 foul too and Felipe Ramos Guinato with 4 fouls in posts 30th, 31st and 32nd respectively. For his part, the Mexican Alberto Harari accumulated 4 faults in 44th place, Cassio Rivetti of Brazil in the 46th with 4 fouls and Nando de Miranda also of Brazil with 8 fouls of 56th. Completed the delegation Bernardo Naveillan of Chile with 12 fouls in 64th and Adir Abreu Junior of Brazil with accumulated of 13 faults in the 66th position.
