Begging of CSI 5* Longines Masters of Hong Kong and victory for Swiss Martin Fuchs during the Hong Kong Jockey Club Trophy, which distributed $95,000 among the participants and 80 FEI Ranking Points for the winner, who dominating the double round in a time of 41.18 seconds with the 11-year-old gelding Clooney (Cornet Obolensky x Ferragamo) owned by Baleri Luigi & C.HC Horses SA.
Leading the class with only 9 hundredths of a second, the winner outperformed former world No. 1 Simon Delestre of France, completing his performance in 41.27 seconds with 12-year-old gelding Chesall Zimequest (Casall x Concerto 4) owned by M.Benoit Zimmermann et MSH SA, occupied the second place, while the third place was taken by the Italian Emanuele Guadiano and 11-year-old stallion Caspar (Berlin x Padarco 2) owned by Ugo Pisani in 41.39 seconds.
To completed the Top 5 Marco Kutscher of Germany was in the fourth place registering a time of 42.42 seconds with the 15-year-old stallion Van Gogh (Numero uno x Bernstein) and the Australian Edwina Tops-Alexander finished in fifth position with 10-year-old mare California (L’Esprit x Libero H) in 44.40 seconds.
