Martin Fuchs won the International Longines FEI Ranking 145 cm Presented by Fortum HorsePower in Helsinki today. The Swiss star was really quick at the course with his new horse Chaplin stopping the clock at 51.44.
– This class is every year an especially fast class here in Helsinki. I had to take risks in order to win and today it worked out well and I’m really happy with the result, says Fuchs. – This was the fifth time I rode with Chaplin in a competition, it is naturally fast horse and was great today, Fuchs praised his horse.
Steve Guerdat completed the day for Swiss riders placing second with his horse Albfuehren’s Happiness. Third place went to Leopold van Asten with VDL Groep Miss Untouchable. The best home rider was Satu Liukkonen with Celestine placing 16th.
-It’s great feeling being able to ride with Celestine again. I feel like it has gain more strength during the last two races. I’m happy with our performance today, says Liukkonen.
