With the dispute of Preis der Top 40 in Zurich, Switzerland opened a week of activities in the CSI5* and victory for the Austrian rider Max Kühner who snatched the victory home representative Steve Guerdat.

Totaling 37 pairs for the competition, Kühner marked an unbeatable time of 49.93 seconds in speed class with 9-years-old mare Electric Touch (Untouchable T’is Z x Voltaire) owned by Kühner, which showed a difference of 40 hundredths of a second to beat the crowd favorite Steve Guerdat and Albfuehren’s Happiness (Heartbeat x Lambrusco ASK) a 10-years-old mare owned by Elisabeth Bachmann & Albführ Hofgut, who set a time of 50.33 seconds slate to fill in the final second place.
Third place recording a time of 51.53 seconds was for the German Marco Kutscher and the horse Balermo (Baloubet du Rouet x Silvio I) owned by Karsten Lutte, closing the top five Finnish rider Anna-Julia Kontio in fourth place with 15-years-old gelding Fardon (Corland x Mezcalero) stopping the clock at 52.76 seconds, while fifth place went to the Swiss Claudia Gisler and 16-years-old gelding Touchable (Navarone x Goodwill) with time 55.18 seconds.
Getting the first points to the World Ranking the winner Max Kühner took 50 points and a prize of 9,900 Swiss Francs.
The only representative of the PAEC Ranking was American rider Audrey Coulter would rank 23 with Colnardo Capital (Colman x Coronado) in course of 5 fouls and 63.20 seconds.
