German rider Michael Jung show the class at home to add the second victory for his country at the CSI3* Internationales Festhallen Reitturnier in Frankfurt.
The course designed by Frank Rothenberger for 49 pairs had the main protagonist of the home rider Michael Jung with 9-year-old mare FischerChelsea (Check In x Argent), completing his journey in 35.57 seconds and securing 50 World Ranking points for his account.
Surpassing who if doubt is one of the main references of the world showjumping in the present moments, Michael Jung surpassed the two times Swedish Olympic medalist and world number 4 Rolf-Göran Bengtsson with a clear advantage, registering in second place the European Champion a time of 37.04 seconds with the 9-year-old stallion Oak Grove’s Carlyle (Casall x Corrado I).
For his part the Italian rider Luca María Moneta took third place in 39.22 seconds accompanied by the 8-year-old mare Ambra (Quintender x Grandeur), followed in fourth place by Cameron Hanley of Ireland with the 9-year-old mare Eis Isaura (Tinka’s Boy x Darco) in 39.30 seconds and fifth place Philip Rüping of Germany with the 10-year-old mare Clinta (Clinton x Lord Pezi) in 41.22 seconds.
Among the Pan American Ranking representatives most prominent was the American rider Andrew Kocher with the 13-year-old gelding Quarto Mail (Cardento x Alligator Fontaine), finishing within the points in tenth place totaling 8 fouls.
