Polish rider Michal Kazmierczak take the victory at the CSI3*-W Memorial of General Michal Gutowski, valid for the World Cup Qualifier.
With the participation of 34 pairs in course designed by Zbignien Jankowski for the CSI3*-W Leszno week, a total of 4 riders got their pass to the jump-off and led by Polish Michal Kazmierczak with his 12-year-old gelding Stakorado (Stakkato Gold x Acorado), completed their round in time of 36.53 seconds.
Securing 50 World Ranking Points with his result, Michal Kazmierczak marked the first of three double clear rounds that would end in the World Cup, achieving a lead of 27 hundredths of a second against his countryman Jaroslaw Skrzyczynski and his 8-year-old gelding Silver Shine (Califax x Balou du Rouet) with a time of 36.80 seconds.
For third place Mariann Hugyecz of Hungary completed the last double clear round of the class in time of 43.20 seconds accompanied by the 12-year-old gelding Chacco Boy (Chacco-Blue x Pit I). On the other hand, Jur Vrieling from the Netherlands, one of the top favorites occupied the fourth place as the last jump-off rider, starting a very aggressive course, but at the end they would finish in 7 fouls with the 9-year-old stallion Dallas VDL (Douglas x Heartbreaker) and completed the top five finishers in fifth place, the Lithuanian rider Danielius Gutkauskas exceeding the time allowed to be penalized with 1 fault, not achieving his pass to the jump-off with the 11-year-old stallion Valetas (Vikis x Cavalet).
