The conclusion of the CSI2* Opglabbeek in Belgium was disputed for its Grand Prix, which distributed €25,000 in the victory of the Dutch rider Michel Hendrix.
Marking an unbeatable pace against his opponents, Michel Hendrix rode on the course designed by his compatriot Henk Linders and the participation of 51 pairs, but everything was defined in the jump-off round with 6 classified riders.
Playing with the 8-year-old gelding Eretto (Vinesse x Iroko) owned by Stal Hendrix, Michel Hendrix completed his round in 45.88 seconds to secure 50 World Ranking Points, beating German rider Philip Rüping with the 10-year-old mare Clinta (Clinton x Lord Pezi), recording a time of 46.31 seconds.
Dutch domination extended to fourth place, where Anouk de Ruijter took third place with the 8-year-old gelding Ekimov (Ustinov x Mermus R) in 47.50 seconds and the last double clear round was for Stefanie van den Brink in fourth place with the 11-year-old mare Baroness (Verdi x Concorde) in 48.26 seconds.
Passing to the Pan American Ranking Olympic medalist Laura Kraut was able to enter the World Ranking Points in 15th place, finishing its field in 4 faults and 74.22 seconds with the 11-year-old gelding Deauville S (Diamant de Semilly x Lux Z) and also American Julie Welles was 22nd with the 11-year-old mare Con Touch S (Con Cento x Capitol I) in 5 fouls.
For the Latino Ranking Colombian rider Santiago Diaz Ortega participated, finishing his round in 12 faults to finish 33rd with the 9-year-old mare Hbr Dance (Thunder van de Zuuthoeve x Lumpaci).
