American rider Molly Ashe achieved an impressive pace from the beginning to finish and take her victory in the $35,000 Keystone Classic at CSI3* Harrisburg.
As part of the Pennsylvania National Horse Show, Molly Ashe completed her formidable round in 54.06 seconds with the 9-year-old gelding Picobello Choppin PC (Mozart des Hayettes x Diamant de Semilly), to be the second FEI event win of the week.
The speed class on course designed by Bernardo Costa Cabral had a total of 18 pairs, where Molly Ashe secured 50 World Ranking Points with her victory, beating Beat Mandli from Switzerland with the 9-year-old mare Dibatsja (Veron x Indoctro) completing the field in 55.81 seconds.
For the third place Francois Lamontagne of Canada registered a time of 56.72 seconds with Vigo Massuere (Nervoso), fourth place for Kalli Cruciotti of the United States accompanied by Chamonix H (Equest Carnute) in 56.83 seconds and fifth place for also American rider Hayley Waters with Galous (Touchdown) in 58.96 seconds.
In case of Latino Ranking riders the second best time of the class was by Chilean Samuel Parot, stopping the clock in 54.22 seconds with the 15-year-old gelding Couscous van Orti (Reve x Cash Nabab), but knocking down a pole for 4 fouls occupying the eighth place and he was escorted himself in ninth place with the 9-year-old gelding Dazzle White (Calvin Z x Narcos II). For his part Salvadoran Paulo Santana along with the 9-year-old mare Una du Keske Z (Ultimo van te Moude x Jus de Pomme) accumulated 8 fouls in the 18th place.
