Nicola Philippaerts takes over the International Omaha Jumping Grand Prix.

For the rest day at the Longines FEI World Cup Final Jumping Omaha, the International Omaha Jumping Grand Prix took place with the victory of Nicola Philippaerts of Belgium, achieving a time of 38.65 seconds with 10-year-old gelding H&M Harley v Bisschop (Dulf van den Bisschop x Coronado) owned by Ludo Philippaerts – Ben Beevers.

With 100 World Ranking points with victory in a class that distributed $130,000 as a prize and the participation of 14 pairs, Philippaerts surpassed Lorenzo de Luca with an advantage than 1 second, after completing the Italian rider with 11-year-old gelding Limestone Gray (Try-Time) his course in the second place, recording the last double clear round in 39.77 seconds. Finished the Top 5 in the third place Ludger Beerbaum of Germany with 4 fouls and 38.17 seconds along with 14-year-old mare Chiara (Contender x Coronado 3), the American rider Karl Cook finished fourth with 13-year-old mare Tembla Van de Zuuthoeve x Cavalier) totaling 4 fouls in 38.95 seconds and fifth place was Christian Heineking of Germany with 4 fouls in 41.16 seconds alongside 9-year-old gelding NKH Calango (Calvados Z x Good Times).

By the Latin Ranking the Uruguayan Martín Rodríguez Vanni managed to add FEI Ranking points after finishing in 11th place, being the fastest course of 4 fouls in the regular round with 12-year-old gelding Liborius (Quiality x Landadel).
