Nicolas Delmotte wins CSI2* Cagnes-Sur-Mer speed class.

The first class of the CSI2* Cagnes-Sur-Mer of the GPA Jump Festival in France, was won by the house rider Nicolas Delmotte in a fast exhibition.

After starting 85 pairs the course designed by Jean-Francois Morand, Frenchman Nicolas Delmotte led the €27,000 Vendredi – Piste Ourasi to secure 50 World Ranking Points with his result, when presented with the 14-year-old gelding Darmani van’t Heike (Grandeur x Voltaire).

Completing the speed class in 69.37 seconds, Nicolas Delmotte outclassed Swedish rider Malin Baryard-Johnsson in a close with time of 69.84 seconds next to the 9-year-old H&M Second Chance (Carland x White Clover).

For the top five finishers Marie Etter Pellegrin of Switzerland along with the 9-year-old mare Une de L’Othain (Conterno Grande, old x Cento) in 70.82 seconds, followed in fourth place by Frenchman Morgan Bordat with the 11-year-old gelding Star de la Beviere (Jazz Band Courcelle x Narcos II) in 70.90 seconds and fifth place for the Italian rider Roberto Arioldi with the 9-year-old gelding Battle Cry 2 (Balou du Rouet x Non Spot) in time of 71.02 seconds.

By Latino Tanking the Mexican rider Gerardo Pasquel Mendez was accompanied by 11-year-old Mighty Mouse (Quartz Adelheid x Codexco), completing a perfect course in 81.44 seconds, to be ranked 19th out of the points.
