Niels Bruynseels led the Belgian rebellion of the Stephex Masters, when the home rider was taking the victory in the €61,800 Audi Trophy in the tie-breaking round.

All the atmosphere of party was breathed in the CSI5* Brussels Stephex Masters, when at the closing of the second day, the Belgian riders seized the first four places led by Niels Bruynseels.

Introduced with the 11-year-old mare Gancia de Muze (Malito de Reve x Nimmerdor) owned by Vaes Erna-Wienen Krystle, Niels Bruynseels secured 80 World Ranking Points with his victory, where Belgium took the one-two-three-four on course designed by Italian Uliano Venzzani.

Highlighting in a formidable jump-off round, Niels Bruynseels stopped the clock in 35.77 seconds to be escorted by Pieter Devos alongside the 12-year-old gelding Apart (Larino x Burggraaf), who got a time of 36.08 seconds, Gregory Wathelet took third place in time of 38.89 seconds with the 9-year-old stallion Mjt Nevados S (Calvados Z x Romualdo) and for the fourth place Jos Verlooy accompanied by the 12-year-old stallion Caracas (Casall x Colman) in 41.16 seconds.

For the Latino Ranking his two representatives managed to add World Ranking Points with Brazil’s Cassio Rivetti being the best placed in eighth place alongside the 9-year-old Ulahop Boy (Lamm de Fetan x Kannan) in a 4-foul jump-off and 39.00 seconds, while his country man Yuri Mansur finished in 13th with the 10-year-old gelding Inferno (Incolor (Old) x Italic des Salines) accumulated 8 fouls in his tiebreaker.

Passing to the Pan-American Ranking his leader and world number 1 Kent Farrington from The United States appeared with the 11-year-old gelding Sherkan d’Amaury (Kannan x Quick Star) occupying 12th position in a field of 8 fouls and 37.15 seconds. Meanwhile also American Bezzie Madden finished 15th alongside the 8-year-old gelding Con Taggio (Contagion x Golliath Life) in 8 fouls and 41.69 seconds.
