The brothers Olivier and Nicola Philipaerts gave an interesting touch on opening at the final day of the CSI 5* Longines Masters of Hong Kong, taking the first and second place in the speed class that distributed $34,600.

Attaining a comfortable 3-second lead, Olivier Philippaerts and his 15-year-old gelding H&M Challenge vd Begijnakker Z (Chellano Z x Palestro vd Begijnakker) won 50 World Ranking points with a time of 54.37 seconds while his brother Nicola and the 13-year-old mare Ustina Sitte (Clinton x Parco) escorted them in time of 57.23 seconds, being one-two for Belgium and leaving everything in the family by hoarding the first two squares.

As the family was the result, Britain was not left behind occupying the third and fourth place with William Whitaker and John Whitaker, with William being 57.77 seconds with Fento Chin S (Chin Chin x Carthago) and John completing his course in 58.23 seconds with Leen OL (Berlin x Kannan).
