To close the week of activities in the CSI5* La Coruna made in Casas Nova Equestrian Club, Oliver Philippaerts of Belgium undertook to take top honors to achieve victory with H&M Challenge V. Begijnakker (Chellano Z x Palestro V. Begijnakker).
About the 13-years old gelding, Philippaerts marked a time of 51.71 seconds in winning round, beating compatriot Jerome Guery and Papillon Z (Perhaps x Cassini I) owners to complete their second winning round in 52.57 seconds to complete the week with one-two for Belgium.
Third place went to Italian Luca Maria Moneta that appeared on the court with Connery (Cordobes II x Polydor) marking the third clear in 53.83 seconds, closing the perfect course foursome Dutch Maikel van der Vleuten in the fourth position with VDL Groep Verdi TN N.O.P. (Quidam de Revel x Landgraf I) in time of 55.17 seconds.
Turning to PAEC Ranking and Latin Ranking was the best placed American rider Lucy Davis in the sixth with her 11-years old gelding Barron (For Pleasure x Nabab de Reve), knocking a pole in the winning round and a total of 4 fouls in 52.00 seconds. Laura Kraut and For Sale 6 (For Pleasure x Cassini I) exceeded the time allowed for the first round and ended at 5 fouls occupying position 23th. For the Latinos Bernardo Alves of Brazil ended in 28th, Alberto Michan of Mexico was located 31th and Felipe Amaral of Brazil did in the 37th.
