With a truly festive atmosphere and a fully stocked stand, Frenchman rider Olivier Robert made himself feel at home, after he conquered the Grand Prix Group Lorban / Ville de Maubeuge, which distributed €80,600 among top 13 finishers.
Presenting Olivier Robert with 13-year-old gelding Eros (Querlybet Hero x Forever), they completed the tiebreaker round in 42.02 seconds to take 80 World Ranking Points with his victory, in a decisive round consisting of 14 pairs of 50 combinations began regular round. The second position was for Christian Weier of Luxembourg registering a time of 43.17 seconds with 11-year-old stallion Global (Nabab de Reve x For Pleasure) and third was Belgian Rik Hemeryck along with 15-year-old stallion Carlitto van’t Zorgvliet (Burggraaf x Cheenook) in 44.07 seconds. The double clear rounds extended to sixth place occupied the three posts by Frenchmen with Emeric George, Geoffrey De Colingny and Marine Bouton.
For Latino Ranking were within the points and being part of the tiebreaker round Colombian Rene López finishing in 8th place, completing his court in 4 fouls and 44.58 seconds with 13-year-old gelding Con Dios III (Colman x Romino), while Brazilian Adir Abreu Junior completed with same 4 fouls, but in time of 46.02 seconds in 11th place with 10-year-old gelding Hunter van het Indihof (Bentley van de Heffinck x Mr. Blue), leaving both competitors with 35 and 20 FEI Ranking points respectively.
Out of the points were US Reed Kessler from Pan American Ranking in 28th place and by Latinos Brazilians Yuri Mansur in box 32nd and Pedro Veniss followed in 35th.
