The most important class of the week CSI 5* UAE President Cup again had an Italian representative as the main protagonist, being this time Paolo Paini the winner in the Longines Grand Prix with a prize of 300,500 Euros.

Being his second win of the week, Paini appeared with the 11-year-old mare Meraviglia Di Ca’San G (For Pleasure x Caletto I) to dominate the tiebreaker round in time of 52.14 seconds, representing a comfortable advantage of 2 seconds that earned him 150 World Ranking points. The second place was occupied by the Frenchman Frederic David with the 13-year-old gelding Ecuador van’t Roosakker (Nabab de Reve x Chin Chin) scoring 54.25 seconds, while third place and last double clear round of the Grand Prix was Also Italian Francesco Turturiello recording 54.40 seconds with 10-year-old gelding Quinoa Des Pres (Quidam’s Rubin x Tanael du Serein).

For the Latin Ranking and Pan American Ranking the US Alice Debany took down a rail to totaling 4 faults with 12-year-old mare Amareusa S (Baloubet du Rouet x Le Mexico) in the 24th place and Andrés Peñalosa from Colombia with the 10-year-old stallion Tintin de La Pomme (Diamant de Semilly x For Pleasure) complete his regular round in 12 fouls to finish in the 39th place.
